Brisbane Ranges, Victoria.

The edge of the Brisbane Ranges lies approximately 60 km west of Melbourne and 30 km north of Geelong, Victoria, though the journey is longer by road. Particularly well-known for its wildflowers, a large part of the area is a national park. Information about the park is available on the Parks Victoria website http://parkweb.vic.gov.au/explore/parks/brisbane-ranges-national-park

The photo at the top of this page shows Black-anther Flax-lily Dianella admixta at the Bert Boardman Recreation Area near the Steiglitz historic town, Brisbane Ranges. October 2016.
