Braeside Park, Braeside, Victoria
This 295 ha park managed by Parks Victoria includes grassy woodland, wetlands and heathlands. Red gums grow in some areas, but elsewhere the trees have died leaving bare skeletons that make useful bird perches. Some of the large old trees also have hollows suitable for nesting.
